Many student face difficulty at the time of self study, they are not able to concentrate on study due to many distractions.

such as social media, sleep, friend & family, functions or many other thing due to which they can’t focus 100% on study. So how to overcome from all this distractions.

Small Self study tips

Pomodoro Concepts (Small breaks)

This is very powerful method of time management, according to this method you break your study time into 40 minute chunks separated by five-minute breaks. and in this 5 minute you can refresh yourself by listening music, dancing, using social media or other works.

Small Nap

It is complaint of many student that when they sit down for study they starting falling asleep. So very small & scientific hack is take 15-20 minute nap, which will charge you fully.

Buffer Time

When you are making time table then you should add buffer time it will help you in handling  unexpected circumstances for ex. sickness, family problem or any other. & it will support you in your time table.

Weekend break

During self study time many student felt that we are cut out from friends, family, society. all people are enjoying going for tours, films or in functions and we felt very sad. I have very good hack, you should take 7 day half day or evening break and during this period go out with your friends , family, what movies and give reward yourself for last weekend.

Memorize before bedtime

Sometimes we go to sleep but we can’t sleep, we keep thinking but can’t sleep. i think many people face this problem so we can solve this problem with efficiently, How?  – When we are going for sleep than memorize your whole day work & rotate what you have read point to point in your mind and it will also cause for revise and sleep will also come.

70:30 Rule

Some time important topics are missed in cycle of completing the entire syllabus but most of time 30% portion syllabus cover 70% marks so we should be first focus on 30% syllabus so we can feel confident and get good marks.

Make short notes

Short notes should be make during self study period, it will help a lot at the time of revising your syllabus & before exam day.

Written practice

Written practice is very important because many time we read & memories a lot but our hand do not work in exam hall or sometimes feel from where i should start my answer and we stuck there. so minimum 30 minute to 1 hour written practice is must during self study.

Use sticky notes

During self study, big and important topics should be written on sticky notes by shortening them in your own language so that while revising, you can easily understand whole topic in your own words & it will save your time at the time of revising.
