Time management in exam hall

Exams are extremely stressful for most of us. It can be difficult to manage your time effectively when you have multiple kinds of thoughts going on in your mind. How will paper be? Or will I be able to attempt it well or not?to  However, if you want to achieve, you must manage your time during exams.

Here are a few suggestions for managing your time while writing your exam.

Table of content-

Maintain your speed from the start.

Don’t read the question paper at the start.

Divide time strategically.

Don’t Stuck in one question.

Focus on Highest marks question first.

*Maintain your speed from the start*

This is an important aspect as we start writing answers very slowly just like turtles and then in the middle we realise that now we have less time and then start writing very quickly. So instead of regretting it later and getting stressed it’s advised to maintain your speed of writing from the beginning.

*Don’t read the question paper at the start*

You may say that I’m saying it wrong or maybe that I’m saying stupid things. But the reason behind this is that , when we read the question paper we get stressed as there may be a few questions that they are not well prepared with. And with this  stress there is a possibility of forgetting what they know, and this may lead by not attempting the complete paper. So it’s advised to directly start solving paper instead of reading them. Before attempting a question make sure to read that question properly.

*Divide time strategically*

Allocate time for each question based on their marks. Try completing your paper in first 140 minutes. And then give 5 minutes to check your presentation in the answer sheet once you have completed writing paper and lastly  give the last 20 minutes for checking and revising your answersheet.  Checking and revising answer sheet is very crucial part of attempting exam so don’t forget to check it.

*Don’t Stuck in one question*

Many students stuck in one question and waste most of their  time in that question and after that they realise they have very less time for remaining question. So you have to decide timing for every question to avoid the situation where you don’t miss out any questions and attempt all questions.

*Focus on Highest marks question first*

Focus on Highest marks question first as

you have very limited time and  many of us focus on less marks question. And due to this reason the highest marks questions are not attempted properly from us and then  we regret that. So to avoid this  situations it’s said why you should focus on highest Marks questions first.
